Samurai Project: Desired Outcomes
Desired Outcomes - Detailed
A Church Pastor / Church-Planter
One Bible-Teacher Working Full-Time as a Pastor or Church-Planter
-
For one of the initial four participants to become a church pastor or church-planter. Perhaps they would enter theological college immediately after completing the Samurai Project and be further trained to be a pastor or a church-planter.
A Biblically-Minded Politician
One Servant-Leader in the Workplace in the Business World Able to Teach the Bible to Colleagues
-
For one of the initial four participants to become a full-time Bible-teaching servant-leader in the church in some capacity. Perhaps they will not become a pastor, but work full-time on a church staff-team in some capacity, teaching the Bible.
-
For one of the initial four participants to return to a normal job, and be equipped to teach the Bible in that context, and share the gospel effectively with those around them in the workplace, and give short Bible talks to their work colleagues, and read the Bible one-to-one with non-Christian colleagues. This person will also understand his work Biblically. This person will begin reforming the structures of their industry, so that their field of work is done more in a distinctively Christian manner, with Christian goals, and explicitly based upon Jesus' teaching.
One Servant-Leader in the Workplace in the Political World Able to Teach the Bible at Church
-
For one of the initial four participants to return to a normal job, and at the same time they will be able to help out teaching the Bible in some way at Church. This may be by leading a children's Sunday school group, or leading a Christianity Explored type of small group, or reading the Bible one-to-one with people. This person will also understand his work Biblically. This person will begin reforming the structures of their industry, so that their field of work is done more in a distinctively Christian manner, with Christian goals, and explicitly based upon Jesus' teaching.
