The application process
We are delighted you are thinking of applying. We encourage you, if you are thinking about applying, to speak to your pastor, not least because we ask all applications to provide a reference from their pastor.
Application requirements:

Has been baptized and made a confession of faith

Has been living as a member of a church for at least one year

Has an interest in becoming a missionary worker

Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic ability

Can commit to two years of training together with their pastor

If Japanese is not their native language, has Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 level

Applications to join from the next academic year (starting in April) are accepted until October 31 of the current year. (If applying for the Future Generation Development Grant , the deadline is September 30.)
The application process is as follows

Discuss your application with your pastor (Trainer) and someone who has known you for more than three years to ensure they are willing to recommend you.

Fill in the forms (below) and ask your pastor to fill in a recommendation.

We will review your documents and ask for an interview.

Prior to offering a place we will meet with you again and include your pastor in order to discuss mentoring etc.
